There will be a Dual County Food Preservation Workshop on June 3, 2016 to be held at the Lake Victor Community Center from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.  Linda Wells Burnet County Family Consumer Science Agent and Karen DeZarn Lampasas County Family Consumer Science Agent will be demonstrating food preservation techniques and discussing proper canning and storage procedures. It's been a "50 Year Tradition"that Burnet and the surrounding counties have been attending the Fair and Rodeo here in Burnet, Texas.  This year celebrates 50 years of rodeo excitement and fair competition for all ages and this year organizers have made some special plans to celebrate in Texas style on June 11 & 12, 2016.
